GN HDD Mud System is using in China

1. One set GN Shale Shaker
The mud after drilling the horizontal drilling rigs will be sent to the shaker in advance. By using different API no. shaker screens, GN shakers can be used to separating different solids size. Generally speaking, particles larger than 100 microns will be separated by shaker.
2. One set GN Mud Cleaner
Fluids will be pump in the mud cleaner for finer separation after treated by GN shaker. Two different size cyclones will separate the solids from 100 microns to 25 microns. Here is a 2 phase separation: the 10 inch cyclones separate solids larger than 50 microns, while the 4 inch cyclones separated solids larger than 25 microns.
3. One set GN Jet Mud Mixer
GN Jet Mud Mixer is effectively used to add chemicals in the drilling fluids so they can be reused for horizontal drilling again.
4. Three Sets GN Centrifugal Pumps
Two pumps are used to feed into the mud cleaner, while a third centrifugal pump is used to pump the chemicals in the mud tank.
5. One Set Mud Tank
There are also some light on the tank in order to provide a better working condition.

All those cuttings are feed from the top of the shaker, with the high rotating speed of the screen basket and flight, finer particles are separated out.
GN vertical cuttings dryer has three screen sizes: 0.25mm, 0.35mm and 0.5 mm. By using different screen model, GN dryer can treat various oil base muds with different densities and viscosities. GN engineers are working on to develop one special cuttings dryer that can treat water base mud especially. As scheduled, the cuttings dryer will be finished testing at the end of this month. By that time, GN will provide more cutting edge equipments to global oil and gas clients.
Now these two cuttings dryers in Houston warehouse are both fix speed dryer. Rotating speed reaches to 900 rpm. Generally speaking, the treating capacity is 30T per hour. After treated by GN cuttings dryer, the oil in the final cuttings is less than 5%. Recently, we just came back from one Nigeria rig site, according to the test operated by this client, the oil in the final cuttings is around 3.77%.

GN Mud Recycling System for ZJ30 Drilling Rig

The first stage solids control is 2 unit shale shakers with 3-panel screens, the capacity of the shaker unit is 120 cubic meters per hour. After the shale shaker, the vacuum degasser is located to remove the gas in the drilling mud thus the working efficiency of the centrifugal pump could be greatly increased, Thus the cyclone would have sufficient pressure when the mud was fed. This ZJ30 rig mud system could be equipped with separate de-sanding and de-silting unit. The de-sanding unit and the de-silting unit is cost less. There is another option of mud cleaner could be installed to replace the de-sanding and de-silting unit. The under shaker of the mud cleaner could be used for further drying the solids particles.

According to the space on the mud tank top, the centrifuge unit is designed located on the second tank. This second tank is divided into 2 or 3 compartments, one of the compartments is used as the centrifuge compartments and the rest compartments are used to store the active drilling mud.

The mud mixing unit is installed on the third tank with 45 kw mixing pump to mix the drilling mud in all the mud storage compartments. Besides the mixing pump, this ZJ30 mud system is also equipped with shearing pump that is used to cut the polymers mud chemicals. This shearing pump would be connected with a chemicals tank which used to mixing the drilling mud chemicals.
