1. Typically we utilize GNZS594E-HB shale shaker as the first phase to remove coarse solids, GNZS584E-HB is with 600GPM capacity under mesh 40 shaker screen. Regarding to 1000GPM capacity, we technically use two set units to process the fluids. Also, desander unit is normally required by the dredge slurry system. One 10 inch desander hydrocyclone is 500GPM capacity, maximum we install three of hydrocyclones in one shale shaker to reach 1500GPM capacity. GN Drilling Cutting Screw Conveyor

Solid screw conveyors (auger) from GN Solids American are manufactured with robust steel, simple drive device and high efficient transfer the drilling cuttings. GN screw conveyors are available in standard diameters from 12 inch, 24 inch and 48 inch. Length sizes are available 24ft, 36ft and 48ft. 1. GNZS752E-DM linear motion shale shaker 1 units. The design of the top located logging tank shortens the length of the vibrating screen box, which is very suitable for HDD compact structure design of the less width of the mud tank.

2. GNZJ752E – 4N desilter with 4 pcs 4 inch hydrocyclone separation for down to 15 microns mud solid particles.

3. The slurry storage capacity is 15 cubic meters provide sufficient space for mud recycling and storage and small dimension is convenient for transportation.

4. GNSB4x3-11 shear pump 2 units. One of which is used for transferring slurry to de-silter cyclone, and another is used for mud mixing system.

How Are You Gonna Choose the Shaker Screen, Shale Shaker and Mud Cleaner

Screen: Generally, the more screen surface area you apply means more volume of drilling fluids you can clean.GN provides two panels, three panels and four panels for processing different volume of drilling fluids. In addition to the surface area, the API standard of screens is measured by the amount of holes per square inch on the panel screen. Different API number of shaker screen controls the size of cuttings that you remove. Sizes will change replying on the size of the cuttings and the type of formations you are removing

Shakers: There are three kinds of shakers in the market including orbital, elliptical and linear motion. GN provides the most reliable linear motion shale shaker. Technically, linear vibration is generated by a pair of eccentric motor turning in opposite directions. The design is able to allow for the development of straight line or linear motion that can also be produced in a positive incline. Hydrocyclones: In order to further effectively remove ultra-fine solids the hydrocyclone size may either be 4, 5, 10 or 12 in. The smaller cone you have the ultra-fine solids you will clean. Each size cone has the corresponding micron cut point. GN 4 inch cones have a micron cut of 20 microns and the 10 in. have a 40 micron cut. Each 4 inch Hydrocyclone cones process the drilling fluids at a rate of 50 gallon/minute. Each 10 inch Hydrocyclone cones process the drilling fluids at a rate of 500 gallon/minute.

Primary Safe Unit for Drilling Fluids-Mud Gas Separator

We could see the mud gas separating installed in many drilling rig jobsite. The drilling fluids/mud from down hole goes into mud gas separator (poor boy degasser).Due to the gravity force, the mud drops down on the 1000mm diameter vessel of poor boy degasser. Obviously, gas flows to the top of 8 inch vent line which is connected with the flare igniter to burn out. Normally, flare ignition device is about 160 ft away from the poor boy degasser to assure the safe distance burning. Meanwhile, the mud would go down and accumulated at the bottom of mud gas separator, and subsequently flow to the into the solids control system including shale shaker, desander, desilter and decanter centrifuge etc
