1. GN Cuttings Dryer Unit
GN Cuttings Dryer is fixed on one telescopic skid, working height can be adjusted when the dryer is working or transporting. VFD control cabinet and flushing pump can be located on the skid. 2. GN Hi-G Shaker Unit
GN Drying Shaker is especially used to treat WBM. One set of GNZS594HGE-LD shaker is mounted on the top of a tapered mud tank. Drill cuttings separated by primary shakers can be transferred to GN Hi-G shaker by a screw conveyor. The cuttings discharged by drying shaker can be feed into a GN centrifuge for further separation.

3. GN Decanter Centrifuge Unit
The structure of GN Decanter Centrifuge Unit is pretty the same as GN Cuttings Dryer Unit, it’s also fixed on one telescopic skid. One positive displacement pump and one variable speed control cabinet (optional) can be also fixed on the skid.

4. GN Solidification Unit
GN Solidification or Stabilization Unit is mainly used to treat the cuttings from desander, desilter, cuttings dryer or decanter centrifuge. All these cuttings are collected in the large hopper of GN solidification unit. 5. GN Cuttings Transfer Unit
This unit is mainly used to storage and transfer the cuttings from GN dryer or GN Hi-G shaker. Drill cuttings discharged from the shakers or desilters are transferred to the collection hopper. Then the cuttings are feed by one vacuum cuttings pump. Cuttings Transfer Unit
6. GN Intermediary Mud Transfer Unit

Mud Transfer Unit
This mud unit includes cylindrical tank, submersible pump, mud agitator and control cabinet. GN mud agitator keeps the inner mud (which usually comes from Hi-G shaker) from sedimentation, and GN submersible pump helps to pump the fluid into GN decanter centrifuge.
7. GN Catching Tank Unit
GN also provides modular catching tank unit to storage and transfer those hazardous waste. Special design to lock the mud tank when transporting keeps the fluid from spill.

Generally speaking, GN cuttings dryers are used to separate the solids that smaller than 3 mm in the drilling fluids. The expensive drilling fluids can be reused by separating with GN cuttings dryer and decanter centrifuge. 1 m³ clean drilling fluids can be recycled from the 3 m³ by using GN drilling cuttings management systems, treating capacity is different for different fluids with various densities and viscosities.
There are three types of screen baskets: 250 microns, 350 microns as well as 500 microns. The minimum cuttings size can be separated out is 250 microns. Distance between screen basket and flight is only 1 mm, which can be modified when the flight is wear after using for a long period.
GN automatic lubricating system can pump oil inside the cuttings dryer automatically, which keeps the key parts in a good using condition. Cuttings can be feed by a screw conveyor or cuttings pump to the top outlet of the cuttings dryer. There’s one distribution disc that separates all the cuttings evenly.
Four sets of flushing ports around the inside shell are used to protect the liquid ring from blocked. One flushing pump (usually positive placement pump) is needed to provide water or diesel for cleaning. GN also has one special design parts air knife system, which can provide high pressure air to blow away those cuttings blocked on screen basket.

The great show MIOGE 2015 show in Russia just ended last week, GN Solids Control Co. Ltd won great success in this wonderful ceremony in Russia. For the decanter centrifuge and cuttings dryer that exhibited in this show, many visitors showed interests and would like to try them in a proper time.
This year, GN Solids Control shipped advanced cutting dryer and decanter centrifuge to attend this show. Many large clients have been using GN equipments for a long time, and they are pretty satisfied with the working performance and treating capacity. russia oil show
In end beginning if this year, there were 4 sets of drilling waste management systems including the decanter centrifuges, cuttings dryers, skid, middle tank and screw conveyors using in Russia under the especially cold weather. All these 4 sets were purchase by Baker Hughes for the OBM (oil base mud) separating. Even the temperature was merely minus 40, all GN decanter centrifuges, cuttings dryers and screw conveyors were working perfectly well. GN decanter centrifuge and cuttings dryer won great success in the Russia market, and now we have many other successful projects that are operating in Russia. For the other countries, such as America, Canada, Mexico, GN solids control and drilling waste management systems are also well known by most of the drilling companies.
The decanter centrifuge in this show is GNLW363CG, which is the C version. Compared with the former B version, the centrifuge has upgraded some parts for better separating results and larger treating capacity.
Besides, the cuttings dryer is a more compact new design with the rotating speed reach to 1200RPM. GN has provided many sets of cuttings dryer in Chinese market and global markets. Just several days before, GN Solids Control finished the manufacturing of 6 sets vertical cuttings dryer in Beijing factory. And those dryer will be sent to Algeria for the OBM treating.

GN Drilling Waste Management for OBM and WBM Treating

GN Solids Control has been designing and manufacturing many sets of drilling waste management systems for global clients. Now GN solids control and drilling waste management equipments are exported to over 60 countries.
GN Drilling Waste Management systems can treat oil base mud, water base mud. It’s obvious to know, in order to get a better separating performance we need to treat the oil base mud and water base mud separately. GN waste management systems are composed of cuttings dryer and decanter centrifuge.

For the decanter centrifuge, GN engineers also gave some creative and practical modifications: mud is feed to the large end of the rotating bowl, some outlets on the screw propeller is added, one flexible bow is fixed on the solids discharge port to avoid block etc.
