GN Solids Control Will Attend the 2016 OSEA

The end of 2016 is in the corner, GN Solids Control has attended many global oil and gas shows or conferences this year. While GN Solids Control has another great conference will exhibit our centrifuge which is the 2016 OSEA.
As we all know, 2016 OSEA is the 21st International Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition. OSEA has been successfully established for more than forty years. Every year, OSEA has thousands of professional exhibitors joining this great event from forty-eight countries. The 2016 OSEA conference and exhibition is estimated to have more than 16,000 attendees joining and share brilliant opinions on the oil and gas industry newly development and successful experiences.
As the leading manufacturer of on solids control and drill cuttings management systems, GN Solids Control has witnessed the fast growth of global market. Although the North America market is still very slow, GN Solids Control believe with the new president of Donald Trump starting to eliminate the strictions and rules, the North America market will have a fast growth in 2017.


The 2016 OSEA is from November 29th to December 2nd in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. GN booth no. is 1G5-01, 24.
This year, GN Solids Control will exhibit one decanter centrifuge GNLW363 in this show. GNLW363 is a 14inch rotating bowl decanter centrifuge, which are largely used by customers for various solids control and drilling waste management. Just several months ago, GN Solids Control delivered more than 10 sets decanter centrifuges to Baker Hughes. GN decanter centrifuges have been widely proved to be one of the most cost-effective equipment for solids and liquid separation.
Besides this Singapore show, GN Solids Control also came back from the ADIPEC show with some prospects. GN Solids Control also joins the OTC every year with 2 booths. 1. GN Cuttings Dryer Unit
GN Cuttings Dryer is fixed on one telescopic skid, working height can be adjusted when the dryer is working or transporting. VFD control cabinet and flushing pump can be located on the skid. One lifting crane can be mounted on the skid for easy repair and maintenance. Walkway and guardrails are also assembled on the skid for convenient and safe operating.Vertical Cuttings Dryer Skid

2. GN Hi-G Shaker Unit
GN Drying Shaker is especially used to treat WBM. One set of GNZS594HGE-LD shaker is mounted on the top of a tapered mud tank. Drill cuttings separated by primary shakers can be transferred to GN Hi-G shaker by a screw conveyor. The cuttings discharged by drying shaker can be feed into a GN centrifuge for further separation.

3. GN Decanter Centrifuge Unit
The structure of GN Decanter Centrifuge Unit is pretty the same as GN Cuttings Dryer Unit, it’s also fixed on one telescopic skid. One positive displacement pump and one variable speed control cabinet (optional) can be also fixed on the skid.

4. GN Solidification Unit
GN Solidification or Stabilization Unit is mainly used to treat the cuttings from desander, desilter, cuttings dryer or decanter centrifuge. All these cuttings are collected in the large hopper of GN solidification unit. By adding different chemicals and cements, the cuttings can be changed into solids pattern which is very easy for transport and move. drilling cuttings solidsfication unit
5. GN Cuttings Transfer Unit
This unit is mainly used to storage and transfer the cuttings from GN dryer or GN Hi-G shaker. Drill cuttings discharged from the shakers or desilters are transferred to the collection hopper. Then the cuttings are feed by one vacuum cuttings pump. Cuttings Transfer Unit
6. GN Intermediary Mud Transfer Unit

Mud Transfer Unit
This mud unit includes cylindrical tank, submersible pump, mud agitator and control cabinet. GN mud agitator keeps the inner mud (which usually comes from Hi-G shaker) from sedimentation, and GN submersible pump helps to pump the fluid into GN decanter centrifuge.
7. GN Catching Tank Unit
GN also provides modular catching tank unit to storage and transfer those hazardous waste. Special design to lock the mud tank when transporting keeps the fluid from spill.

GN Solidification Unit for One Largest Domestic Client

GN Solids Control Co. Ltd has many experience engineers, who are keep designing advance equipments to meet our customers changing demands. Now the new invented GN Drill Cuttings Solidification Unit is delivered to one large client’s worksite for drilling cuttings further separation.
Now all the drilling cuttings can be treated by GN decanter centrifuge and GN cuttings dryer, which are all mechanical separation. Oil in the cuttings can be controlled around 5%. But due to the strict environment protection rule, it’s better to find a cost effective way to treat the cuttings less than 5% oil.
GN Solidification Unit can mix cement and silicon or some other chemicals thoroughly with the drill cuttings, so after fully mixing and chemical reaction, the solids come out from GN Solidification Unit can be reused for construction materials.drilling solidification unit
GN Solidification Unit includes the following parts:
1. GN Cuttings Hopper
The cuttings hopper is used to storage all the cuttings from High G drying shaker or decanter centrifuge. Capacity reaches to 5 CBM.
2. GN Screw Conveyor
It transfers the cuttings to the High shear mixing tank. 2015.6.30 High G dryer with mud tank
3. Two Storage Boxes
One is used for storaging cement and the other one is used to storage absorber. There is separated screw conveyor connected to the storage box, so they can be transferred to the shearing tank.
4. Mixing Tank
All the cuttings, cement, absorber as well as some necessary liquid chemicals will be thoroughly mixed and sheared. So the solidified cuttings will be pushed to the oue let and discharged, then they can be reused for construction materials etc.
Besides this GN Solidification Unit, GN also provides two High G shakers to this client. All the drill fluids will be separated by GN drying shaker in advance.

GN Drilling Waste Management for OBM and WBM Treating

GN Solids Control has been designing and manufacturing many sets of drilling waste management systems for global clients. Now GN solids control and drilling waste management equipments are exported to over 60 countries.
GN Drilling Waste Management systems can treat oil base mud, water base mud. It’s obvious to know, in order to get a better separating performance we need to treat the oil base mud and water base mud separately. GN waste management systems are composed of cuttings dryer and decanter centrifuge.
The largest advantage of GN cuttings dryer is it can treat with OBM and WBM. For some drilling rigs, in the primary drilling period most of the fluids are water base mud, the oil based mud will be used as the rig drilling much deeper. So only buy one cuttings dryer, you can use it for all the drilling process.
Now many large clients are using GN drilling waste management systems, such as Shell used one whole unit to separate the OBM in the shale gas drilling process. According to the survey made by Shell, oil in the final cuttings treated by GN cuttings dryer will be around 5%, and it will be reached to 3.75% when you feeding with few drilling mud.
Now GN has upgraded our cuttings dryer to the forth version: the rotating speed can reach to 1200 RPM, separating performance is better than the third version. For the decanter centrifuge, GN engineers also gave some creative and practical modifications: mud is feed to the large end of the rotating bowl, some outlets on the screw propeller is added, one flexible bow is fixed on the solids discharge port to avoid block etc.
