Mini Decanter Centrifuge and Drilling Mud Cleaning Equipment for Europe Client

Recently, GN Solids Control successfully delivered a complete package of mini decanter centrifuges and drilling mud cleaning systems to a valued customer in Europe. This shipment demonstrates GN’s capability to provide both small-scale precision equipment and high-capacity mud recycling systems tailored to different drilling operations.

The package included four units of GNLW223D mini decanter centrifuges. The GNLW223D is one of GN’s most compact decanter centrifuges, with a 9-inch bowl diameter, designed for fine solids separation in drilling fluids or other industrial slurry treatment. It offers excellent performance in removing ultra-fine solids from mud, enabling drilling operations to maintain proper mud properties while reducing wear on downstream equipment. With its small footprint and light weight, the GNLW223D is ideal for applications where space is limited, such as small HDD rigs, mining exploration sites, and compact drilling locations.

Alongside the centrifuges, the order also featured two GNMS-600B mud cleaning systems and two GNMS-1000B mud cleaning systems. These integrated mud cleaning units combine shale shaker, desander, and desilter functions into a single compact skid, providing a three-stage solids control process. The GNMS-600B model is rated for a capacity of 600 GPM, while the GNMS-1000B system handles up to 1000 GPM. Both systems are designed with modular layouts for easy transport, fast installation, and convenient maintenance.

The shale shakers in these systems utilize GN’s high-G force vibration technology, ensuring efficient removal of larger solids at the first stage. The desander and desilter cyclones remove medium and fine particles in subsequent stages, producing clean drilling fluid ready for reuse. Each unit is equipped with reliable centrifugal pumps and rugged mud tanks built to withstand harsh drilling site conditions.

One of the key advantages of GN’s delivery to this European client is the flexibility of combining mini centrifuges with complete mud cleaning systems. For operations with variable drilling requirements, the GNLW223D centrifuges can be deployed either as stand-alone units for fine solids polishing or as part of a closed-loop mud recycling process with the GNMS series systems. This adaptability ensures maximum efficiency, reduced mud consumption, and lower disposal costs.

All equipment was manufactured under GN’s strict quality control system, in compliance with international standards. From fabrication to assembly, every unit was tested to ensure reliable operation and long service life. The package was shipped on schedule, with complete documentation and technical support to assist the client in installation and commissioning.
