Dewatering System for Lake dredging Project In Canada

Last week we shipped out one dewatering system to Canada for lake sludge dewatering. This is the biggest dewatering system we provided to America market. As we all know Canada have strictly mange to environment, their government invest money on the pollution control especially on the water source protection.

This dewatering system was used to treat the sludge dredged from Quebec lake. Remove out the solids and clench the water, and then discharge water back lake. It is a huge system, actually our equipment is just partial of the whole project, and in charges of the mechanical separation. After our system, it also equipped other machine for the water purification. What we provide is shale shaker, desander, desilter , Decanter centrifuge, screw conveyor and also mud tank. The sludge transfer into shale shaker and desander for primary separation to remove out the big size particle. After that , the discharged liquid need to feed into Decanter centrifuge to separate out particle smaller than 60um. In this project, we built 2 unit GNLW764 Decanter centrifuge, which is the biggest model of GN. The designed treating capacity is 140 cube meter per hour, and actual capacity is about 120 cube meter. This 764 model was especially designed for waste water treatment project to meet client requirement to big capacity.

Client has high request to automation, and reduce the labor working as much as possible. Every separation equipment has a screw conveyor to catch the discharged solids , and transfer it to truck to transport out. The operator finish all the work through the central control box.

Sometimes the clean water can be used as drilling fluid in well drilling. But for deep well and complex drilling, water is not enough. There need to add other material such as barite, clay, salt, oil to increase the mud density to reach the using. In actual drilling project, drilling mud is more complex than we are thinking. In different drilling stage or different geologic situation, it will also need to mix kinds chemical material to keep the mud property. Drilling slurry is the most middle material with lots function, which directly influence the drill efficiency and safety. The Selection of Drilling Fluid

Drilling fluid cost is an important part of the cost of the whole drilling project, which is usually expressed by the cost per unit footage, which involves the cost of some complex accidents (and can be avoided) encountered in the process of drilling and merging, such as sticking.
In many cases, the cost of drilling fluid also includes solid control, waste management and waste disposal. Therefore, it is equally important to reduce the cost drilling .Special maintenance and equipment are required to control the solid content of well fluid . If the waste liquid and cobalt cuttings produced by cobalt well fluid cannot be directly discharged into the surrounding environment, but must be transported away, generally speaking, it will also increase the cost of drilling fluid. Until now, the waste water-based drilling fluid can be directly discharged into the surrounding environment without any treatment. In many areas, government regulations prohibit the use of chromium containing substances, such as chromium lignosulfonate. In many areas, the use of chloride, nitrate and potassium salts in drilling fluid is forcibly limited, or the more common practice is the total conductivity of drilling fluid. Oil based drilling fluid, especially offshore, tends to be more limited than water-based drilling fluid, only oil-based drilling fluid with zero discharge measures (sometimes referred to as closed-loop system) can be used. In the United States, if the toxicity and biodegradability of synthetic based drilling fluid meet the standard requirements and do not produce fluorescence, it can usually be directly discharged into the sea. From this point of view, although the direct cost of synthetic based drilling fluid is generally higher than that of oil-based drilling fluid, its treatment cost is often lower. In this way, the use of synthetic based cobalt drilling fluid can be more economical than oil-based drilling fluid.
