GN Solids Control has successfully delivered a set of High-G Drying Shakers and Mud Agitators to a Middle East oilfield customer, supporting their drilling operations with efficient solids control and reliable mud tank mixing performance. This project once again highlights GN’s capability to provide robust equipment designed for the demanding operating conditions commonly found in the Middle East.
Drilling operations in the region are characterized by high temperatures, abrasive formations, and strict requirements for drilling fluid recovery and waste reduction. GN’s High-G drying shaker is specifically engineered to address these challenges by efficiently removing residual drilling fluid from cuttings while maintaining stable and continuous operation.

The GN High-G Drying Shaker is designed to generate strong vibration force, typically up to 7.0–8.0 G, allowing it to effectively separate liquid from drilled cuttings. Compared with conventional shale shakers, the high-G drying shaker achieves significantly lower moisture content in discharged solids, which helps reduce waste volume and minimize fluid loss. This is particularly important for oil-based and synthetic-based drilling fluids, where fluid recovery directly impacts operating costs.
Equipped with a multi-panel shaker deck, the drying shaker allows for flexible screen configurations to handle varying drilling conditions.
